I need to provide an area for my university, college or department where documents/papers/books will be made available for reading and discussions.  I also want to control who can access this content for editing and reading.  Can you help?

Yes.  Our solution appreciates the difference between a team that works together to build a book vs readers who want to read the book.  We provide an environment for an author to collaborate with his/her team to upload content/documents and build a book.  Once the book is ready, it is available in multiple digital formats for readers to consume on various devices - desktop and mobile.  You as an author (or acting as an author) can decide to provide reading access to a set of users or make it available to anyone - the choice is yours.

I want to make more than one book available to a group of readers.  How do I do that?

Go to My Readers area of the site where you manage access to your books and you will see a section where you can control multi-book subscriptions.  To provide reading access to more than one book to a group of readers, do the following:
 
1.  Add all the books (e.g. book1, book2, book3) which you want to make available to the multi-book group
2.  Add all the readers (e.g. user1, user2, user3, user4) as subscribers to this multi-book group.
 
This gives access for reading book1, book2 and book3 to user1, user2, user3 and user4.  It is that easy!
 
You also have the ability to provide finer grained control. You can control access on a per book basis by adding subscribers (i.e. readers) to each book individually.
